How often you need to change the fuel filter depends on how much dirt there is in the fuel. Our recommendation is to check and, if necessary, change fuel filter every 100 hours or every month.
Husqvarna have implemented a new fuel filter with improved filtration, for there Auto Tune™ products. Analysis of carburettors often show cases of dirt entering the carburettor. The new fuel filter has a finer mesh and is white and blue in colour.
All other saws in there product range should be fitted with the orange filter.
